anyways, we've been living in the house for about eight days now. my wife is still working on painting the kitchen. she's been working on it for a while now but never really gets much done. she is so freakin' lazy. and more of a procrastinator than i am. we still dont have dressers. miranda says they are in her moms basement. i have paint and everything for them. they are gonna be navy blue. but they havent been moved yet. maybe i can do it today since i'll actually be home this evening and her mom will be up then to help. we've been waiting on hte directv people for while now, too. it should have been installed a week ago. its supposedly happening today or tomorrow. at least thats what they told us. i wont hold my breath. the cable internet is to be installed on friday. that'll be sweet. now if only best buy would give me my computer back. the geek squad is a total crock. dont ever take anything to them. they are useless. later days...

this week my crew and i (which is down to 12 from 19) is on the eve shift. its actually better cuz i get to sleep in and the last two days we've gotten off relatively early. but today is a lab day so i think we wont be as lucky. yay training. 5 days till the day we might find out the sex of  the baby. i really want to know. i hope its a girl. still got a few weeks before we get to move in to our house. we had the pest inspection done on monday. it went well. there are just a few minor problems that need to be taken care of. i hope the seller's will take care of all of it but i can handle them just fixing the biggest ones. i dont think they'll have a problem with that. well, anyways, i guess i should get over to the classroom and see whats going on. later days...

so, here i am at work, doing what i did all day yesterday...sitting on hte computer. woot. they really need to start giving us more to do. or juts tell us not to bother coming in. that would be nice. i drive 45 minutes every day to come here and sit around on the computer. what a waste of gas. talk about abusing your resources...this is ridiculous. stupid navy.

so, a funny thing happened yesterday. while we were looking at a prospective new home, a puppy walked up to us. he came out of an alley that ran behind the house and around the neighborhood. she had no collar and we assumed she was a stray. so, we took her home and decided that if hte humane society didnt say anyone was lookig for a puppy, that we will keep her. so, assuming no one is looking for her, which i doubt because she is really young (we guesstimate about 3 or 4 weeks) she is ours. i named her Shiloh. she is my dog...

she is very cute...later days...
